She has conducted research in Nepal for over 25 years, on themes of ethnicity, migration, and political transformation. Her current research focuses on post-earthquake reconstruction in Nepal. She is also involved with community-based research about Nepali-Canadian experiences in BC.<\/p>\n<p>Rina Pradhan is a public health professional. She holds a Ph.D. from Monash University and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3087 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/necase.ca\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/rina-pradhan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"99\" height=\"99\" srcset=\"https:\/\/necase.ca\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/rina-pradhan.jpg 262w, https:\/\/necase.ca\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/rina-pradhan-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/necase.ca\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/rina-pradhan-250x250.jpg 250w, https:\/\/necase.ca\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/rina-pradhan-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 99px) 100vw, 99px\" \/>has more than ten years of experience working in women&#8217;s health and teaching public health. She is currently a Research Associate at the UBC Centre for India &amp; South Asia Research, exploring intergenerational changes and social wellbeing in the Nepali community of BC<\/p>\n<div>The summary report from the presenters&#8217;
