As a group we will explore the ever evolving gender roles within our community. Through the use of personal stories and experiences, we will examine how families and society function to reinforce and maintain these roles.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

Aawaz <\/b>is a Nepali youth group that aims to amplify the collective voices of Nepalese-Canadian youths in Edmonton. This group aims to foster a sense of identity and community through youth engagement by creating dialogue, hosting youth-centered community events and exploring and practicing Nepalese culture and arts. A group of like-minded youths got together to start this group and amplify our own voices in our community<\/span><\/p>\n
