Introduction
As the name implies Edmonton Chautari provides a venue for delivering talks and formal discussions by knowledgeable individuals or groups on the topic of interest to the community members. We anticipate these individuals or groups will come from within or outside the community at large based on the topic of interest and the availability of knowledgeable individuals to deliver the program.
The objective of Edmonton Chautari is to help NECASE achieve social, recreational, and personal development related objectives by conducting programs that would provide Community members opportunity to engage in formal discussions, talk programs, and forums that have not only a social objective but also a learning objective for all age groups in the Community. Contents of the Chautari will also cover personal or family issues and challenges.
Program Format
The Chautari is open to all age groups of the Community. There will be separate fun-filled programs for the children that will be developed and conducted by the youths. Therefore, this program will have the potential to develop other programs in the process of delivering the talk program. The hope of this approach is that a program that attracts all members of a family within a social context has a better chance of success and all members of the family are able to take away something of interest to them at all events.
