• Healthy Aging and intergenerational engagement: crucial component for immigrant Canadian society
• Currently, ritual/cultural customs are not clear for last rites in Canada
• NECASE will be able to develop self-confidence to senior members to have their own plan for cultural rituals for the final stages of life
• A learning opportunity for Youths and for cultural transformation of last rites process in Canada

Project Goal

• Seniors engage Youths to understand the cultural significance of the Last Rites in Nepal
• Seniors engage Youths to explore and work out for a funeral planning process in Canada
• Develop minimum basic guidelines for funeral services in Canada
